I do not want the printer to ever print double sided. I have tried going to the system preferences / printers, etc. And it directs me to the printer website. From there I cannot find a way to change the default to double sided printing to 'off'. When printing in Word, i select print then show presets, and it says that double sided is turned off but it still prints double sided. I also tried to save a new printer setting with the double sided printing as turned off and it still prints double sided. I also can't find out how to change the default setting on the actual printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The information above refers to Mac OS X indeed, however I included the steps for the latest OS X versions (10.7 or 10.8) as you haven't mentioned your operating system version. If you may have an earlier OS version as 10.6 or 10.5 you may need to click the triangle icon next to the printer name to expend the print settings within the print dialog. For any issues please clarify your exact operating system version (You may find that out by clicking the Apple icon and then About This Mac, as well please let me know the exact Office for Mac version installed on your Mac (e.g. 2004, 2008 or 2011).
